As I get older, my joy in everyday things increases.
For example, today a package came from Amazon. It wasn’t very big but I knew exactly what it was and I couldn’t wait to open it.
It’s something we need more of in the kitchen. We had two but one broke on Sunday and we cannot survive with only one. We cook every day (even pre-covid) and we eat some goooood food (Facts are facts). And this is something I have to pull out of the dirty dishwasher regularly to rewash, reuse, and return to the dishwasher.
What is it, you ask?
It’s a cheese grater!! WOOHOO!!! And it’s shiny and beautiful! I’ve already used it to grate cheese for dinner tonight.
I hope you have exciting packages coming soon. (Tomorrow I have fertilizer for my Fiddle Leaf Fig coming in–so…that’s pretty exciting!)
Packages are delightful! I normally don’t like being interrupted when I’m live teaching on Zoom, but today my son dropped off three used books I ordered and I could barely keep going because I wanted to put class on pause and preview my books!

Reminds me that I need to order a water bowl that the cat can drink from while he’s on the bed.

There’s nothing like having exactly what you need for the job! I will be sharing your Amazon excitement tomorrow when my new salad spinner arrives. Thanks for sharing your writing!
